Stan Evans is a registered investment advisor and principal at Evans Wealth Management, which is a fee-only financial planning and financial advisory firm located at 300 Second Avenue in beautiful downtown Gallipolis, Ohio. Evans Wealth Management’s foundation is their commitment to building relationships, investment advice, unbiased planning and personalized portfolio management based on clients’ individual needs, goals and dreams.

Evans Wealth Management provides financial planning, 401K and investment management, and consulting to individuals, trusts, and corporations. They specialize in people with busy lives including, farmers, business owners, retirees, medical professionals, lawyers, and CPA’s.

Using proper risk tolerance analysis, proper asset allocation, and Modern Portfolio Theory, planning includes the key areas of investment management, debt management, income planning, and risk mitigation. These areas tie together to create evolving goals through time: wealth accumulation, retirement planning, asset protection, and estate planning.

Stan Evans is accessible, dedicated to your success, and non-judgmental. The only thing he sells is advice formulated from his 30+ years of financial advisory experience, all tailored to your needs. Stan began his financial career in 1983 at The Ohio Company in Columbus, OH. In 1993 Stan joined Merrill Lynch where he served as a financial advisor in Huntington, WV, district manager in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Complex Director of western Tennessee.  In 2003 he made the switch to Prudential Securities/Wachovia Securities/Wells Fargo Advisors where he managed the Columbus, Pittsburgh and Indianapolis Complexes, he remained there until 2010. In addition Stan has been a member of the FINRA Dispute Resolution Board of Arbitrators since 2008.

Stan has been married to his wife Brenda for 39 years, and has 3 grown children, four grandchildren. He enjoys cooking, baking, grilling, tending to a peach and apple orchard, spending time with his family, reading and working on the family sheep farm.

Stan is involved in the local community where he serves on the Board of Trustees for the University of Rio Grande, Holzer Medical Center Foundation Board, the Welsh Advisory Board and the Moriah Church Cemetery Association. He is a member of the Moriah Presbyterian Church and is an elder within his church family. He also provides free events to the community throughout the year including art shows featuring local artists, free Easter-time faith-based movies at the local cinema, and tractor pulled wagon rides during the Gallipolis in Lights Lighting of the Park the night before Thanksgiving.
